Object – professional preparation of would-be primary school teachers for valeological education of pupils; subject – the pedagogical conditions of effective training of would-be primary school teaches for valeological education of pupils; methods – theoretical: analysis of philosophical, psychological, valeological, pedagogical literature with the aim of determination of the essence of would-be primary school teachers’ preparedness for valeological education of primary school pupils, determination of the role and functions of professional pedagogical education in the process of would-be primary school teachers’ preparedness for forming valeological comprehension and behaviour of pupils, well-grounding of pedagogical conditions for effective solution of the given problem, as well as analysis and generalization of higher pedagogical educational establishments' experience in the sphere of preparedness of students for valeological education in school; diagnistic: scientific-research discussions with academic lecturers, students and primary school pupils, questionnaires, testing, pedagogical observation, analysis and generalization of evaluative opinions, students' creative work for determination of the state of the given problem in pedagogical practice, level characteristics of would-be primary school teachers and primary school teachers for valeological education of pupils; experimental: stating and forming experiments for verification of efficiency of the pedagogical conditions for would-be primary school teachers' preparedness for valeological education; statistical methods for qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results of the investigation
