Liubchyk I. The etnopolitical processes on Lemkivshchyna (the 90th of the ХIХth centuru - the 30 th of the ХХth century).

The dissertation is devoted to the research of etnopolitical processes on Lemkivshchyna in the 90 th of the ХIХ th century - the 30 th of the ХХ th century. On the basis of wide range of sources the social-political, cultural-educational and social-economic processes on Lemkivshchyna are analysed, the peculiarities are found out. The factors which generated or broke the process of the forming and making of the national identity of the etnographic group of Lemkivshchyna have been investigated. The forms and methods of etnopolitics are eхposed, its negative influence on the national development of Lemky are found out, the number of reasons which directly influenced the lateness and heterogeneous character of making of the Ukrainian national identity of Lemky. It is proved that in spite of the considerable obstacles the Ukrainian national self-identification of Lemky made progress constantly. It is marked that this process at the end of the 1930 th was not able to overcome all Lemkivshchyna and that was manifested in identification contradictions in separate parts of ethnographic district.
