Essay

The psychological aspects of development of foreign language teacher’s activity are considered, the analysis of researches aimed at revealing essence and functions of psychological barriers, consequences of their overcoming in professional creativity and development of foreign language teacher’s activity has been conducted. Imagination of foreign language teacher’s activity as the activity in its development is substantiated, the parameters of this development have been determined; psychological barriers typical of foreign language teacher’s activity are described, and also the strategies and conditions of overcoming these barriers have been revealed. The description of methods and analysis results of the establishing and forming experiments conducted during empiric research and psychological parameters aimed at revealing psychological parameters of development of foreign language teacher’s activity, and also determination of conditions providing perfection of his activity have been presented.
