Essay

Finishing of flat, cylindrical and spherical surfaces of friction couples of piston pumps. Efficiency upgrading of parts finishing technology of friction couples of piston pumps. Fundamentals of mechanical engineering, material cutting, mathematical analysis and physics; mathematic simulation; profilometer, hardness testing devices, microscopes. Key parameters of thermal process at grinding are described in mathematical terms; conditions of temperature reduction at grinding are defined, effective finishing methods of friction couples of piston pumps are developed. For the first time mathematical model for definition of grinding temperature is developed with allowance for balance of heat in chip scrap and workpiece that has allowed to reveal, to substantiate and to implement new temperature reduction capabilities at grinding as well as to improve the quality of parts finishing of friction couples of piston pumps. The possibility of essential increase in finishing efficiency without increase in temperature and degeneration of quality of workpiece surfaces due to realization of the established thermal process in conditions of whetting and deep grinding is proved.
