Object - wind erosion firmness of a soil cover of Southern Steppe of Ukraine. Purpose - studying of steadiness by wind erosion of a soil cover of Southern Steppe of Ukraine depending on agricultural cultures and predecessors. Methods - visual, laboratory, mathematically-statistical, calculation-comparative. Theoretical results - on the basis of field, laboratory researches are analyzed factors of formation steadiness by wind erosion of a soil cover of Southern Steppe of Ukraine. Influence of meteorological conditions, agricultural crops and predecessors on deflation properties of chornozem southern is established. Influence of modern changes of a climate on deflationary danger in a zone of Southern Steppe of Ukraine is analyzed. Practical results - researches enable to estimate for the terms of South Steppe influence of predecessors and main agricultural cultures on steadiness by wind erosion of a soil cover. The revealed laws of a condition deflation parameters of a soil cover in most deflation the dangerous period and influences of modern climatic changes in region enable to predict potential losses of ground and to develop systems of soil-protective actions. Novelty - definition for conditions of Southern Steppe of influence of predecessors and agricultural crops on steadiness by wind erosion of southern chоrnozems (in particular on roughness and connectivity of soil units) and vegetation in a deflation dangerous period of year; annual dynamics of parameters steadiness by wind erosion of a soil cover; dependences steadiness by wind erosion of a soil cover in the spring from quantity of cycles of "freezing - thawing" during the winter period; influences of changes of a climate in region on soil factors of a deflation the forecast concerning the future soil-protective properties agrophones region also is made; for conditions of Southern Steppe it is designed quantitative estimations steadiness by wind erosion of a soil cover and a ecology-power estimation deflation efficiency of technologies of cultivation of agricultural crops in view of changes of power potential soil under act of deflation. Degree of application - results of work are recommended for use by the scientific-research and project institutes of land management. The field is scientifically-educational and nature protection.
