Essay

Object – slope soil genesis of agrolandscapes. Purpose –improvement of theoretical and methodological approaches to the diagnosis of slope soil genesis for optimization of erosion-hazardous agrolandscapes of the Left-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Methods – information-monographic, abstract-logical, field, laboratory-analytical, computational-constructive, cartographic, mathematical modeling, statistical. Theoretical results – the methodical approach to identification of ecological-genetic and land capability structure of soil cover of sloping lands on the basis of forecasting of distribution of values of hydrothermic coefficient of Selianynov and the use of diagnostic indicators - coefficient relative accumulation of humus and coefficient of profile accumulation of humus are substantiated; the criterions for establishing degree of erosion for slope chernozem soils are clarified by proving the characteristic ratio of thickness of genetic horizons of chernozem soils of slopes by joint analysis of ontogenesis of soil profile of slopes and statistic of ratios of thickness of genetic horizons soils of slopes; it is improved methodical approach to mapping the humus content according to multispectral scanning (taking into account the peculiarity of soils of slopes); the peculiarities of the spatial distribution of the parameters of the fractional composition of macroaggregates, water resistance of the structure and microaggregates of the soil on different elements of the slope and on the slopes of different exposure are established. Practical results – the discovering of the spatial structure of sloping lands on the basis of the analysis of the distribution soil-forming factors is substantiated; there are developed scenarios that combine the indicator of the degree of erosion (geomorphological position) of the land with the target ecological and economic indicators of crop rotation, which, using combinatorial methods, allow carrying out soil protection optimization of spatial distribution of crop rotations. Novelty – the methodical approach to establish the structure of soil based on its relationship to the spread of river terraces is proposed; conceptual algorithmization of the use of the indicator of magnetic susceptibility of the soil to establish the degree of erosion of the chernozem soils on the basis of the established correlation between the studied indicator, humus content and the erosion hazard index; the choice of groups of fields for crop rotations by combinatorial optimization is determined, which takes into account the spatial structure of the erosion-hazardous agro-landscape according to the formed scenarios taking into account the connections of the degree of erosion (geomorphological position) with ecological and economic indicators. Degree of implementation - the results of research were checked in working environments for designing a system of land protection from water erosion in terms of specific land use, which is confirmed by the relevant acts of the municipal enterprise "Oblzemproekt" in farms of Kharkiv region on the area of 5200 ha and agricultural enterprise STOV "Kolos 2000" of Chuguiv district, Kharkiv region 900 ha. The normative document of Ukraine DSTU 7904: 2015 “Soil quality. Determination of potential soil erosion threat under the influence of rain" was developed with the participation of the applicant.
