Essay

The thesis covers studying the effect of cryopreserved fetal neural cells after being introduced during treatment of dystrophic pathology of vision organ. The possibility of participation of cryopreserved fetal neural cells in recovery of anatomic retina structures has been shown. Reparative regeneration in the damaged retinal membrane at molecular level of regulation of the processes: based on studying the production of some neurotrophic factors (TGF -1 and GNF) directly participating in reparative regeneration has been investigated. It has been shown that the introduced neural cells are highly pathological focus-seeking and found in the damage focus within a long period up to 21 days. As the matter of the record on obtained experimental data a high efficiency in ophthalmologic practice during treatment of dry form of central chorioretinal dystrophy has been demonstrated. This method may be introduced into daily ophthalmologic practice and contribute to social rehabilitation of the patients. Key words: cryopreservation, fetal nerve cells, reparation, retina, application
