The dissertation deals with the theoretical and experimental studying of the problem of creative skills development during future teachers of music vocal training. It is given a pedagogical interpretation of the concept "creative skills" of future teachers of music. The essence, content and structure of the appointed phenomenon are also revealed. The pedagogical potential of the vocal training of Teachers' Training Universities students as the way of their creative skills development is revealed. The principal ways of creative skills development during students' vocal training are determined. The criteria, indexes and maturity levels of future teachers of music creative skills are determined. The methods of the students' creative skills development during vocal training are worked out and checked experimentally up, using the complex of creative methods: emotionally realized intoning, recitation of texts, rhythmical and timbre variations, vocal improvisation etc. The author worked up the methodical recommendations on creative skills development during vocal training for senior courses of studies students and masters' degree in speciality of "Singing", teachers of music of comprehensive schools. The importance and practical value of the achieved results are revealed, and perspectives of further working out of the problem are also suggested.
