Dissertation is devoted to the study of ideal traces as well as their place and role in criminalistics. The author studies the types of ideal traces and psychological mechanism of their formation. He also looks at the scientific and technical approaches to work with the ideal traces and analyzes the individual scientific and technical approaches. He identifies the most effective technical criminalist methods, analyzes them as well as breaks in categories. He develops the system of tactic methods of actualization of the ideal traces. The author formulates criminalist recommendations as to the practical implementation the individual tactic methods as well as determines conditions for their implementation and situational dependency.
