Basing on study of historicaL and pedagogicaL Literature, chemistry teaching pLans and curricuLa, methodoLogicaL instructions and pedagogicaL press materiaLs the author makes a systematicaL anaLysis of forming of content of chemistry course in Ukraine during the 60s of the XIXth – beginning of the 60s of XXth centuries and on this ground shows factors of its deveLopment. Within three separate periods the author defines main tendencies and pecuLiarities of forming of content of schooL chemistry course. Due to historicaL and pedagogicaL anaLysis of making of chemistry manuaLs the author cLears up the Leading roLe of manuaLs and textbooks in reaLization of content of chemistry course in the 60s of the XIXth – the beginning of the 60s of the XXth cc.
