The dissertation presents the analysis of the process of self-consciousness formation and development at the juvenile age and the peculiarities of its separate constituents: I-image, I-conception, self-attitude, self-appraisal. The work proposes theoretically grounded model of developing interaction between a juvenile and an adult in "psychologist(teacher)-pupil" system, shows the role of self-consciousness of the personality in this process in the period of juvenile crisis and defines its components. The study elaborates the model for psycho diagnosis of self-consciousness structural constituents. The thesis determines positive connection of reflexive introspection and developing training for the construction and development of I-image and I-conception as structural components of self-consciousness. The dissertation elaborates the programme of active social psychological training for the development of self-consciousness of teenagers, demonstrates positive influence of the proposed programme on the development of self-consciousness constituents: I-image, I-conception, self-attitude, self-appraisal.
