Object of the study: connective-tissue dysplasiae (CTD) in preg-nant women, results of the pregnancy, the foetus and newborn in females with CTD. Purpose of the study: to devise effective approaches to the prog-nosis and prevention of perinatal complications on the basis of de-termination of peculiarities in the gestation process course and the state of the foetoplacental complex (FPC) in women with CTD. Methods of the study: clinical, laboratory, biochemical, instru-mental, ultrasonographic, mosphological, statistical. Practical significance: in order to compensate for the negative ef-fect of CTD on the perinatal development, Detralex angioprotector was grounded and used in pregnant women for the first time. A technique for prognosticating placental disturbances and delayed intrauterine development of the foetus in pregnant women with CTD (defended by Pat. No. 24018 A, Ukraine) and a new method of medicamental management of the pregnancy in cases of CTD using Detralex angioprotector (defended by Pat.No. 22873 A, Ukraine) were suggested. Novelty of the obtained results: for the first time, by the results of the entire clinical study, a negative effect of CTD on the rate and structure of complications at the perinatal period was concretely defined. It was revealed that, owing to morphofunctional changes in their placenta, the pregnancy in females with CTD was charac-terized by a higher rate of foetoplacental disturbances and lower potencies for the foetus growth, while the neonatal period was peculiar for higher, than in the general population, levels of hy-poxic-ischaemic lesions of the central nervous system, birth traumas. On the basis of the first comparative study of the molecular, cellular, and tissue responses at FPC and cellular-morphological parallels, a concept was formed for hereditary determination of perinatal pathology, associated with placental dysmorphogenesis, in women with CTD. For the first time, it was found out that the use of an angioporotector (Detralex) was the key moment for preventing perinatal complications in women with CTD, provided the drugs with the disaggregating effect were restricted, as it was grounded by a comparative clinical and mor-phological study. Degree of introduction: the experience, based on the results of the thesis, was introduced into the practical work of maternity homes Nos 2, 3, 6 of the City of Kharkiv, the Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Centre of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductology of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Obstetrical-Gynaecological Department of the Chuguev Central District Hospi-tal of the Kharkiv Region, into the educational process at the De-partment of Medical Genetics and Ultrasonographic Diagnosis of the Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. Sphere of application: medicine, obstetrics and gynаecology.
