Kravchtnko S. Treaties on cessation: theory and practice

With this aim a conceptual apparatus, classical and contemporary approaches concerning treaties on cessation in terms of armed conflicts are analyzed, peculiarities of treaties on cessation under conditions of armed conflicts as well as in the framework of regional integration institutions such as EU and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) are examined, recommendations regarding improvement of national legislation dealing the problems of treaties on cessation and elimination of its imperfections as well as its irrelevance to the international law standards, which are both defined in Viennese conventions and in the documents of regional organizations, in the projects of new articles of UN International Law Commission and in remarks of native specialists are clarified.
