In the dissertation the role of consciousness in professional becoming of workers of internal affairs is shown. Features "Self-image" at different stages of vocational training are revealed. Influence of practice in divisions of internal affairs on formation "Self-image" cadets is investigated. Tactics of maintenance of the positive self-relation at representatives of different trades in system of internal affairs are described. Ways optimizations of process vocational counselling of workers of internal affairs are offered.
