Byelyevtseva V. Legal aspects of cross-border cooperation at the regional level

This dissertational research is devoted to the increasing of legislative regulation of relations regarding cross-border cooperation at the regional level. The author emphasizes that the Strategy for the integration of Ukraine to the European Union, the main parameters of which have been determined by Decrees of the President of Ukraine, and acts of other agencies of power, stipulates the necessity to solve a number of problems connected with reforming and realization of regional policy and reforming of regional management.Process tendencies and regularities of the cross-border cooperation development have been grounded, which will have positive impact onto economic and social progress of the corresponding region, and serve deepening of the cultural cooperation, in particular with cross-border regions of the CIS countries.Main results of the dissertation research can be used in the work of local governments and local self-governments, as well as in the curricular of educational establishments.
