The dissertation is devoted to development of scientifically-practical bases of management by process of deformation hardening of a superficial layer for improvement of operational properties of details of machines by creation by technological methods in the superficial layers, the set parameters of hardening. The mathematical model which allows to define residual pressure of compression, adhesive durability of plastically deformed layer, area of plastic and elastic deformations.
