Fotina H. Disinfection efficiency and pharmaco-toxicology estimate of pharmaceutical dosage form of quaternary ammonia compound in the contemporary conditions poultry keeping

Object of research: pharmacological-toxicological and disinfection properties of Brovadez plus. Purpose of research: to find the most safe active substances and to compose on that basis new combined dis-nifective agent effective against wide spectrum of poultry infectious agents, to conduct pharmacological-toxicological estimation of new product and to have scientific background of it use in modern poultry industry. Methods of research: pharmacological, toxicological, epizootological, microbiological, clinical and statistical. Scientific novelty: we were the first to compose new complex sanitary cleaning product with wide spectrum action - Brovadez plus. It was proven that product has bactericidal activity against Gram-negative (S.enteritidis, S.pullorum-gallinarum, C.jejuni, C. fetus, Y.enterocolitica, K.preumonae, P.vulgaris, P.mirabilis, P.aeruginosa, C.diiversus, E.agglomerans) and Gram-positive bacteria (S.faecalis, S.auresu); sporecidal activity against C.perfringes; antiviral activity against RNA-viruses and fungicidal activity against A.fumigatus. The lethal doses of this disinfectious agent, cumulative properties, aggravate, sensibilizative and derma-resorbtive action were estab-lished. We were the first to show effective dose of product against the most wide spread strains of poultry Eimeria (E.acervulina, E.tenella, E.maxima, E.necatrix). The effective methods of disinfection and desinvasion with new product on the all technological parts of poultry industry were suggested. Degree of introduction: suggestions to practice - methodological advices "Use of new sanitation and disinfection agents in poultry industry and control of their efficiency" which were issued on the request of the Ukraine Veterinary Medicine Department and now are in use on the most of the poultry farms of Ukraine. Serial production of the Brovadez plus product on the scientific-productive company "Brovafarma" is implemented. Sphere (field of using): veterinary medicine.
