Object of research: soils, water, feeds, blood, serum, nonspecific resistancy and the immunological reactivity in clinically healthy and diseased calves with catarrhal bronchopneumonia of Red Steppe breed. Purpose of research: the study of pharmacological activity of Echinacea compositum and coenzyme compositum and their influence on the organism of intact and ill in catarrhal bronchopneumonia of calves, their influence on the disease pathogenesis, normalization of the metabolism and immune correction of the calves' organism status. Methods of research: pharmacological, clinical, haemato-logical, biochemical, immunological and statistical. Scientific novelty: the pharmacological action of homoeo-pathic preparations - Echinacea compositum and coen-zyme compositum for veterinary purposes of intact calves has been studied for the first time. The influence of ho-moeopathic preparations on morphological blood indices (haemoglobin content, the quantity of erythrocytes and leucocytes, erythrocytes' sinking speed, leucocytic pro-file), microelements' level (Co, Cu, Fe, Mn in the blood serum), ferments' activity and the condition of cellular and humoral immunity links of intact and ill in catarrhal bron-chopneumonia calves has been investigated. The treatment efficiency of homoeopathic preparations - coenzyme com-positum and Echinacea compositum in catarrhal bronchopneumonia of calves has been scientifically grounded and practically confirmed. The complex method of antihomo-toxic treatment of calves ill in catarrhal bronchopneumonia with the homoeopathic preparations treatment has been developed and approbated in the conditions of Odeskaya and Mykolayivskaya Oblasts. The scientific novelty has been approved by the Declaration patent for the useful model № 2001107382, Ukraine "The treatment way of the young of agricultural animals ill in catarrhal bronchopneumonia". Degree of introduction: it is necessary to provide special zooveterinary conditions of maintenance and feeding for the calves treatment diseased with catarrhal bronchopneumonia. It is recommended to apply complex regional lym-photropic antihomotoxic therapy with Echinacea compositum subcutaneously 2.5 ml 3 days on end, then 3 times a week and coenzyme compositum subcutaneously 2.5 ml 3 times a week in combination with the lidase subcutane-ously 32 YO 3 days on end, then 3 times a week, ammo-nium chloride 2,0 per os 2 times a day bicillinum-3 sub-muscularly 50 thousand OD per 1 kg of live weight once in three days and the blocade of starlike nodes with 0.5% novocainum solution once in 5 days 1 ml per 1kg of live weight.
