Object - teaching English of senior preschool students. The purpose - to ground theoretically and approbate experimentally formation methods of senior preschool students' English oral communicative skills. Methods? Theoretical, empirical, diagnostic, statistical. Novelty? For the first time: a lingua and didactic model of senior preschool child's English oral communicative skills formation has been made; lingua and didactic principles of formation methods of senior preschool students' English oral communicative skills have been established. The meaning of the definition "senior preschool child's English oral communicative skills" has been specified. The cpiteria and the features of oral English-speaking communication have been found out. The levels of senior preschool students' English oral communicative skills formation have been characterised. The ways of complete and firm learning the programme level of senior preschool child's English oral communucative skills have been determined. The methods ofteaching English of preschool children has received the further development. Results? Methodical advice and an author's programme have been created, a system of exercises and lessons plan-synopses aimed at teaching 5/6 year-old children English oral communication have been elaborated, English thematic vocabulary-minimum aimed at forming senior preschool students' stock of lexical knowledge has been worked out. Efficiency of introduction - high. Area - pedagogical, higher educational establishments, preschool educational institutions.
