Essay

On the basis of research of raw materials of the stone artifacts of the Bronze Age the history of the usage of stone raw materials of Kryvyi Rig district was reconstructed during the period. The list of the used rocks that was uncovered by the previous researchers was extended. The features of their usage were determined. The interdependence between mineralogico-petrographic properties and the usage of the definite rocks was interrelated. These signify about the purposeful mining of some varieties of rocks. The rocks that have been mined were selected among those that have been used. The trade list of the stone raw materials was extended. The network of the stone raw materials trade between Kryvyi Rig district and the neighboring regions in the Bronze Age was improved.
