Brykova I. Regional Component of Enhancing International Competitiveness of Countries

International competitive relation of countries under condition of global economic development. Complex study on the basis of modern economic concepts of the essence and factors of regions' competitiveness formation; revelation of core components of regional models of international competitiveness of countries enhancing and elaboration of scientific-founded mechanism of Ukraine international competitiveness enhancement by its national regions competitive potential realization. Historian-logical, system-structured analysis, method of the analysis and syntheses, quantitative and qualitative comparison, prediction and expert assessment, economic and mathematic modeling. The evolution of the international region competitiveness theory is explored and, on the criterion of dominant competitive advantages, three stages of its forming are selected; the complex assessment of innovativeness of Ukrainian regions and system analysis of innovation cycle stage's effectiveness are realized, the regional innovation capacity index is calculated and on this basis national regions are ranked by the level of their innovation development and regions - national innovation leaders are determined (Kyiv, Charkivska oblast), that can be the poles of innovation growth in the process of international competitive status of Ukraine enhancement. The practical results towards assessment of innovation, cluster and creative potentials of Ukrainian regions and the most competitive regions identification were applied.
