Dissertation work is devoted to increasing of operational reliability of power electrocontact connections of contactors of main controller EKG-8G and electropneumatic contactors PC-96-101 of alternating current electric locomotives by the means of replacement or restoration of copper-tungsten contacts and silver containing contacts by new composition materials (pseudoalloys). The analysis of features of work and types of refuses of contactors EKG-8G and PC-96-101 of alternating current electric locomotives was conducted. Technological charateristics of selected condacting materials for contacts brazing was investigated. The probabilistic model and method of estimation of extreme parametrical reliability of contact connections by the criterion of contact resistance was developed. The regularity of wear of contacts of contactors EKG-8G and PC-96-101 was revealed. The changing of contact resistance and temperature of contacts from different materials in the real terms of exploitation of electric locomotives was investigated. The methodic of technological and operating stabilities was developed and numerical comparative estimation ones was conducted and also parametrical reliability of contacts by the criterion of wear.
