German Y. Historical and scientific analyses of scientific and pedagogical activities of German scientists of Kharkiv University in pre-reform period

Object is science and higher education in Ukraine in the 19th century. The aim is historical and scientific analysis of scientific and pedagogical activities of German scientists who worked in Kharkiv University in the first half of the 19th century. Methods are historical and genetic, diachronic, comparative and historical, historical and scientific, statistic, general scientific methods: system, analysis. On the base of the analyses of the great complex of published and archive sources the scientific and pedagogical activities of German Professors of the Kharkiv University in the first part of the 19th century was investigated. The main factors which caused the arrival of these scientists to the University and reasons of their departure were found. The connection between the native system of university education of the 19th century and the German one was established. The scientific activities of these scientists are analyzed. There was made a conclusion about the importance of the German Professors' scientific activities for the solution of the important task of those times science. Sphere of use is training courses.
