Preparative methods and synthesis of new 1-R-4-hydroxy-2-oxo-1,2-dihydroquinoline-3-carboxylic acids benzylidenehydrazides derivative and their substituted in benzylidene and in quinoline molecule part of the analogues has been carried out with the purpose of new potential antitubercular remedies search. The structure of the synthesized compounds have been confirmed by the data of the ultimate analysis, NMR spectroscopy, chromatographic mass spectrometry, and in some cases by the X-ray diffraction analysis and counter synthesis. Antitubercular properties of the synthesized compounds in relation to Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv complex have been investigated. 3-chlorobenzylidenehydrazide of 1-ethyl-4-hydroxy-2-oxo-1,2-dihydroquinoline-3-carboxylic acids showing high antimycobacterial activity has been recommended for profound biological researches as a potential remedy with antitubercular action. Methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis of this substance have been developed
