The thesis focuses on the names which function in belles-lettres in some fiction and on “the field of reality” where realistic persons with such names have been taken into account. Semantic and stylistic characteristics and functions of the historical poetonyms, their matter in organizing and development of historical belles-lettres poetonymity are defined. Historical works poetonymosphere is orderly system of names in which obligatory ones (a historical entourage) needn’t contradict oneself but they must integrally and logically correspond. Historical environment trustworthiness positive negative nouns are structured type. Sphere of historical work is an aggregate of conditions and event milieu. Historical authenticity of described events, in addition to another methods of art, is reached by means of real onomasticon actualization, which had been correlated with certain time.
