Object - stamm Acinetobacter sp. D-7005, microbial ethapolan exopolysaccharide (EPS) ; aim - improvement of microbial ethapolan expopolysaccharide (EPS) technology on the mixture of growth substrates.; methods - microbiological, biotechnological, physical-chemical, chemical, mathematical; novelty - for the first time ability to intensify ethapolan synthesis on mixtures of energy deficient С2-С6-substrates (acetate and glucose, acetate and molasses). The possibility to eliminate C2-metabolism limitation under cultivation of the producer on non-buffered medium with ethanol and glucose by increasing acetyl-CoA-synthetase activators concentration, by using inoculum grown on C2-compounds and by fractional substrates supply has been shown. It has been established that glucose (energy deficient substrate) and ethanol (energy excessive substrate) can be substituted with cheaper molasses and fumarate, respectively. Result - technological and equipment scheme has been developed in order to produce three forms of ethapolan, which differ in the degree of EPS purification. Sphere of use - biotechnology.
