Author investigates the origin, development and comprehension of the phenomenon of "cultural industries", particularly examines and clarifies the term, appearance and explanation, main foundations of the interaction of cultural industries with traditional cultural institutions, the peculiarities of cultural policy in Ukraine for publishing, cinematography, television, radio, music industry, advertisement and Internet. As a result the investigation proved that cultural industry is modern, information and computer technologies based form of management for cultural production, equitable to cooperation, manufacturing and factory production. Proved that despite the impetuous development of cultural industries in Ukraine, neither governmental nor entrepreneur's methodical, successive attention can be found.
