Kondratskaya V. Media Image of the Crimea in the Polyethnic Information Field of the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea (2002-2007)

The thesis deals with the problem of profound study and creation of Media image of the Crimea in the Polyethnic information field. The historiography of the problem is investigated; the main peculiarities of theoretical, methodological and practical approaches to studying of the Media image of a separate region are analyzed. Media image of the Crimea, being actively used in Media sphere - taken as an absolute stereotype, as well as being developed in analytical materials during all sorts of disputes and discussions can be undoubtedly characterized as diversified, multilevel and discrepant. This Media image can be stated as unique both, from the point of view of its subject-components as well as from the point of view of distinctive features of its formation and development; it's also important to state the role that Media image plays in Media image perception of Ukraine in general.
