Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of ethnocultural process history on the Ukrainian territory and its regions. According to the materials of Rivne Polissya region populated area field investigation it is easily to observe substantial and territorial differentiations of calendar ceremonial rites phenomena. The character of natural habitat correlations of calendar ritual symbols such as action, verbal, object and temporal ones on the background of Polissya region and the whole of Ukraine has been determined and analyzed as the complex of factors that promoted the forming of local specificity. The thesis deals with transformation mechanisms which include ritual components of traditional calendar culture based on two chronological cuts - 40,s - 80,s of XX century. The features of the way of life, forms and contents of Rivne Polissya calendar Soviet and independent Ukraine periods ceremonial rites are disclosed.
