Essay

Research object: a complex of traditional mythological presentations of Ukrainians is in the context of mythology of east slavs, which after the origin is pre-christian. A research purpose consists in the comprehensive study of features of awareness of time in traditional mythological presentations of Ukrainians and place of category of time in the view-mental picture of the world of traditional society. Research methods: method of historical reconstruction, comparatively-historical method, типологический method, methods of analysis and synthesis, method of герменевтики. The practical value of research consists in deepening of scientific study of this проблематики in the Ukrainian ethnology can be drawn on research Results at teaching of institute of higher courses “Ethnology”, “Ethnography of slavonic people” and “Ethnography of Ukraine”, for writing of reasons, methodical manuals. A scientific novelty consists in raising and development of issue of the day, it is not enough lighted up in ethnologic science. On the basis of wide array of sources considerable part of which is first entered in a scientific appeal, first the features of perception of time are complex investigational in presentation of Ukrainians. New is raising of problem which consists in consideration of category of time as a системообразующего factor of folk view-mythological complex. It is set during research, that basic description of folk conception of time is his high-quality perception, certain the specific of mythological thought. In dissertation also first analysed and systematized complex of folk pictures of personification and personification of time.
