3. USA libraries computerizing process as the prerequisite of the improvement of the education of the librarians in the USA higher library schools has been analyzed and summarized. The main directions of evolutionary processes of application of information technologies in the higher education of the USA have been indicated. The priority of information communication distance learning technologies in the library science education has been identified. Information communica tive component based on the development of online teaching, interactive and Internet сommunications in the distance learning technologies in the USA higher library education has been scientifically proved.
