The thesis of dissertation is devoted to the criminalistic, processual and organizational problems of crimes investigating on the field of radioactive materials using. In this thesis the author considers the main elements of criminalistic characteristic and classification of the crimes with using of radioactive (nuclear) materials. The characteristic features of radioactive materials impotent for their forensic identification, and social threats evaluation were mark out. Author develops the peculiarities of the investigative activity in the presence of inquest into such sort of crimes, mutual exchange activities of an investagor (investigator) with other participants of criminal process and significance of special knowledge using. In the thesis the principles of international nuclear law construction and question about sufficiency of the national legal foundation in the inquest into this sort of crimes are researches. It is shown that the perspectives of the criminalistics investigation of such sort violation law's are connected with nuclear forensic laboratories creation and making the national data bank of crimes with using of the radioactive materials.
