Essay

The thesis deals with lichen biota in Donetsk Upland, which includes 191 lichens and 11 lichenicolous fungi, of which 120 species are new to the region and 5 - for Ukraine. Listed taxa belong to 78 genera, 30 families and 10 orders of Ascomycota and 4 genera of Hyphomycetes. The floristic-comparative, geographical and substrate analyses were carryed out and species were divided due to frequency of their occurrence, lichens biota of the number of protected areas were investigated.
