Romanyuk V. Performance in the space of culture: archaic prototypes and contemporary representations

The thesis work is devoted to the integrated study of cultural performance and performative processes in arts, social sphere and policy of the second half of the XX - the beginning of the XXI centuries. The comparative analysis of archaic ritual and contemporary performance were made, historical prototypes of modern performative actions were studied. It was found that performative characteristics inherent not only to "Live art", they were found in various fields of culture and art. Performative characteristics established in the modern media, advertising and politics. Interactive media art involving audience in the communicative process and updates the problem of transformation of visual perception and the creation of a new way of arts and culture functioning in general; the branch - сulturology, the theory and history of culture.
