Dissertation is devoted to the questions of the investigator's determination of the procedural status of personals who take part in pretrial inquiry. In order to improve procedural investigator's activity the author gives us the activity algorithm of an official during of passing the resolution which is concerned with the person's criminal status receiving. According to this algorithm the author examines the procedural order of legal person's location in criminal proceedings. The author analyses peculiarities of the investigator's determination of the procedural status of parties to a legal process on different stages. She gives any ideas of the improvement of active Code criminal proceedings and its project of the investigator's determination of procedural status of personals who take part in pretrial inquiry.
