Legkikh K. General Scientific and Procedural Issues of Conducting Forensic Legal Expert Examination in Judicial Proceedings of Ukraine.

The thesis is a research into general scientific and procedural issues of conducting forensic expert examination in judicial proceedings of Ukraine. The concept and correlation of special and legal knowledge have been defined, theoretical background of forensic legal expert examination proposed. It has been determined that forensic legal expert examination is a certain guarantee of comprehensive and complete examination of normative legal acts and documents from the standpoint of the legislation that is in force. Forensic legal expert examination as well as its subject matter have been defined. Peculiarities of expert's opinion as an individual kind of sources of evidence have been determined. Proposals have been elaborated with regard to training and certification of forensic experts in the area of legal expert examination as well as the establishment of Ukrainian Forensic Legal Expert Examination Centre.
