Dumasenko S. The variety shows in the context of cultural development of Odesa in the first quarter of the 20th century

The dissertation is devoted to the research of Odesa variety shows of the first quarter of the 20th century. The author has pointed the reasons of appearance and decay, shown the dynamic of development of Odesa theatres of miniatures and cabarets. In the work the investigator shows the role of them in cultural way of Odesa life. It is proved that the principle of functioning of Odesa theatre "Miniatyur" by the rest Russian Empire theatres and its name began being used for designation theatres of cabaret tendency. The features of producing, organization of dramatic art in different kinds of variety shows are opened in thesis and problem of genre peculiarity is raised. Special attention is paid to specific of actor playing. The activity of well-known representatives of Odesa cabaret and theatres is opened. The reasons of success of these institutions in the general public are defined; the branch - art, the theory and history of culture
