Essay

The candidate for a degree states that the myth about Paris as the embodiment of spiritual freedom stands as a center for the studied Parisian text and is associated with "inner" life of heroes. Daily Paris is perceived as a closed space, it's text is structured with the set of general urban mifolohems (City as an Ocean, Woman, Theater). Literature of "young generation" is expanding the range of toposes of the Parisian text (board, attic, caf? of Montparnasse, Russian cabaret) and their means of representation, but also raises specific types of characters (Russian monparno, beggar as a deliberate outsider, fl?neur).
