Damaskina M. International Investment Risk Management

The thesis is focused on research of international investment risk management in the course of its global transformation, the identification of main components of integrated international investment risk management system in transnational corporations as well as development of mechanism of international investment risk management in Ukraine. The methodological approaches to the determination of economic category "international investment risk" are systemized and the author's version of it's classification with the regard to its nature is introduced in the thesis. Two main groups of international investment risks management are devised: basic risks and behavior risks. The main key parts of international investment risk management system are determined. The background and mechanism of increase of the role of hedge-funds in the system of international investment risk management is showed. The organization tools of international investment risk management are systhemized. The investment risks of transnational corporations in Ukraine are diagnosed. The directions for international investment risk management improvement in Ukraine is offered, which linked with the legislative base for companies' investment activity development and modern investment risk management tools employment.
