Vilchak Y. Features of treaty-making capacity of international economic organizations (on the example of the UN system)

Thesis is devoted to research of features of treaty-making capacity of the specialized economic agencies of UN. In thesis the main stages of origin and becoming of international economic organizations and specialized economic agencies of UN are represented. The treaty-making capacity of the specialized economic agencies of UN is described by interpretation of their constituent acts and analysis of international agreements which conclude by them. Legal nature of the specialized economic agencies as subjects of international law is exposed and their classification is conducted, basic conceptions of treaty-making capacity of international organizations are selected. The main features of responsibility for braking of the international obligations by international organizations are researched. It is set that their treaty-making capacity has functional character, conditioned a constituent act and aims of every organization. The definition of notion "treaty-making capacity of the specialized economic agenciesof UN" is offered.
