The object is Y.Gutsalo's belles-lettres of 70-ths years. The aim is to define a function and originality of psychologism in Y.Gutsalo's belles-lettres of 70-ths years of XX century as the most productive way of an individualization of the characters and world models. The methods are system-functional, comparative-historical and psychological analysis. The originality of psychologism in Y.Gutsalo's belles-lettres of 70-ths of XX century is analyzed. The attention is paid to expressing of the entire world of the characters with the help of such psychological means as entire monologue, entire dialogue, indirect speech, intonation, psychological portrait, psychological detail, dream method, reflexion, confession, technique flow of conscious etc. The conceptual meaning peculiarities of psychologism in Y.Gutsalo's short stories, tales, novels of 70-ths years of XX century are observed by the way of finding the structural components of world models, researching of narrative organization of the text and determination the function of intertext.
