Terekhova I. The ideal of beauty in T.G. Shevchenko's prose.

The objects are stories, diary and letters. The aim is the substantiation Шевченковской of T.Shevchenko's concept of beauty in the nature, art, person and society. The methods are typological, biographic, comparative, psychoanalytical. The unity of aesthetics and literature is revealed. The relations of beauty at the level of nature, art, society are characterized. It is found out that the prose of the writer is an original event which doesn't meet the literature's standards of that time having both national and European literary-aesthetic traditions. The author's view of beauty in nature, art, person and society is an indicator of his outlook determining his literary-art priorities which are of current importance today. The result of the research is the analysis of T. Shevchenko's prose heritage regarding to the ideal of beauty. It gives perspectives for new researches and extends the range of works on the basis of which new Ukrainian literature can be examined. Application sphere is the training courses.
