Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of the notion and meaning, consent and essence of the right to the integrity of the person, as a fundamental human right, proclaimed in the modern human rights document - The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union 2000. On the basiсs of the analysis of scientific literature, norms of the International and European Law, national legislation of the EU countries, as well as practice of their application it has been fulfilled a research over the notion of the human right to the integrity of the person, its genesis in the international and EU Law, the modern understanding of this right and tendencies of its development in future as a basic human right. An attempt is made to formulate the modern conception and interpretation of the human right to the integrity of the person and outline possible trends of further research of the phenomena of this right as a fundamental human right and the basics of future international and European regulations in the sphere of biomedicine and human rights.
