Essay

The thesis deals with the formation of the peculiarities of psychological readiness of members of public units for border protection. In the investigation psychological peculiarities of activity of members of border units on border protection have been determined. The essence and structure of their psychological readiness of this aspect of activity have been revealed. The real state of the formation of the main components of psychological readiness of members of public units for the State border protection has been revealed. The influence of the series of socio-demographic and professional indices upon the level of the development of some components of this readiness has been presented. The programme of psychological readiness formation of members of public units for border protection has been worked out. Its effectiveness has been checked up experimentally.
