The object of study - creativity as a personal trait. The purpose of study - to establish, theoretically and empirically prove interrelations between creativity and socially-psychological adaptation of the person. The methods: the theo-retical analysis, generalisation and systematization, sociometry, personal questionnaires, mathematical statistics. Novelty: for the first time presence of direct dependence between level of creativity and social frustration is defined and proved, separate characteristics of performance of tests of creative abilities as markers of adaptable potential of the person are analysed; the optimum model of creativity is created; specific nonlinear link between creativity and a number of variables are fixed; representation about traits of the personal organisation of creative persons is specified; defined interpretation of a phenomenon of social desirability as personal characteristic; developed the representation about creativity as the factor of socially-psychological adaptation of the individual. Practical value: the results have scientifically-methodical importance for training of experts for work with creative children, is base for preparation of methodical recommendations concerning psycho-pedagogical support of creative persons. Efficiency of the introduction - high. The sphere of the use: higher educational institutions, psychological services.
