Puchko-Kolesnik Y. Activity of a choir-master as a social-cultural phenomena

The dissertation deals with research of artistic-interpretation essence of choir conductor and its social-culturalfunctions. The synthesis of cultural, musical-esthetical and social-psychological aspects of studying nature, essence andspecification of conductor-choral fulfilmently art are peculiarity of the thesis. The modern position of science and practice ofconductor-choir fulfilmently art were analysed. The peculiarities of function choral orthodox traditions in social and cultural lifeof Ukraine were introduced and theoretically determined. The link of modern choir-master activity and analyses of spiritualmusical compositions of G. Gavrilets were proved.
