The dissertation deals with the research of particularities of the forming the psychological readiness of the leaders of the general educational institutions of prognostic activity. The author analyses specifics of prognostic activity of the leaders at the general institutions, its place in management activity of the leaders. The theoretical model is designed to under investigation readiness. The certain components of psychological readiness of the leaders of the general educational institutions for psychological of activity are determined. Studied individual characteristic (which be included in component), which predestine success an prognostics to activity of the leaders at the general educational institutions. The levels of successful prognostic activity of the leaders at the general educational institutions are researched. The devision of the leaders of the educational institutions is analyzed both according to level of successful prognostic activity and social-demographic factor. The program of psychological preparing the leaders at the general educational institutions for prognostic activity is designed and approved. The Psychological conditions of the forming to readiness of the leaders at the general institutions for prognostic activity in system after degree education are determined.
