Essay

The object is root exudates 1-3-day-old wheat seedlings "Donatskaya-48", received in hydroponics culture. The aim was to research qualitative and quantitative composition of wheat seedlings root exudates, role of root border cells in excretion and estimation of biological activity of root exudates on model systems. Methods - spectrophotometerical, electophoresis of proteins, method of paper discs for antibacterial activity estimation/ It was pointed out that excretion of metabolites by roots began from early stages of root system formation/ The feedback of root growth rate and excretion activity was pointed out. The hypothesis of functional system "root-microenvironment" was formulated. It was revealed that root exudates received in hydroponics culture of wheat seedlings showed antibacterial and antioxidant activity. The sphere of use is elaboration of root technologies on the base of hydroponics culture of wheat seedlings to receive biologically active nutrients.
