Fedorenko I. History of formation and development of scientific and technical school of N. F. Gerasyuta for theory of flight in rocket-and-space technology (second half of XX century)

The thesis comprises comprehensive historical and scientific study of the contribution made by N. F. Gerasyuta and representatives of his scientific and technical school in theoretical and applied development of theory of flight in rocket-and-space technology, as well as analysis of the structure of representatives of N. F. Gerasyuta's scientific and technical school for revealing personal contribution of each of them and setting of priorities in the scientific direction under study. Socio-political and economic conditions of formation of scientific and technical school of N. F. Gerasyuta are investigated and formulated; expansion of the concept of scientific and technical school as a structural unit is offered, and the question about actual effectiveness of works of N. F. Gerasyuta and representatives of his school in provision of basic performance characteristics of combat missiles and space launch vehicles is considered.
