Tsybulskyy D. The toxic action of trychothecenes mycotoxins and using of sorbent "Kormosan" for the prevention mycotoxin's intoxication

Object of research: toxicity caused by trichothecene mycotoxins, efficacy of preparation "Kormosan". Purpose of research: to establish of toxic action of tricho-thecene mycotoxins, their influence to some cell's and tissues's processes and metabolic mechanisms, establish the efficacy of new sorbent "Kormosan" (producer SPC "Brovafarma") for intoxication of mycotoxins. Substantiate the adding of preparation to technological processes of producing output of poultry farming of high sanitary quality. Methods of research: clinical, epizootological, pathologoa-natomical, pharmacological-toxicological, biochemical and statistical. Scientific novelty: for the first time was used cell's culture IPEC-1 in Ukraine as diagnostical method for determination of toxicity of trichothecene mycotoxins. We propose new method for determination of toxicity of mycotoxins using cell's culture of swine's intestine. New aspects of mechanism of action of mycotoxins on barrier function of swine's intestine were established. The registration documents for new sorbent of mycotoxins with trade mark "Kormosan" were developed. New preparation has the equal efficacy and lower value as foreign analogue. Degree of introduction: suggestions to practice - methodo-logical advices "Prevention of mycotoxin's intoxication with sorbents" and "Mycotoxicoses of swines and birds: diagnostics, ways and methods of medical-prophylactic correction" which were issued on the request of the Ukraine Veterinary Medicine Department and now are in use on the most of the poultry farms of Ukraine. For determination of level of mycotoxin's toxicity we rec-ommend to use the culture of cells of swine's intestine that are confirmed with patent for useful model № 40420. For the treatment and prevention of mycotoxin's intoxication we recommend to use sorbent for mycotoxins "Kormosan" producing by SPF "Brovafarma" (Technical conditions ТУ У 24.4-14332579-053:2009).
